Description

Our client is a rising independent presence within the infrastructure and property markets. They provide their clients with professional strategic and delivery consulting services- from concept stage through to project completion/handover. With a massive transportation project underway, they are in need of an Assistant Project Manager to help guide the programme to completion.

The role

  • Coordinate internal and external parties to push current and future projects to completion- on time and to the company’s and clients’ requirements
  • Manage and maintain project documentation and reports, including project controls, progress reports and administration
  • Provide assistance and expertise in every step of the project lifecycle (including the development of project designs, budgets, schedules, contract documents, and regulatory review/permitting processes) to ensure the customers’ needs meet outcome
  • Act as a key contact with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors for the organisation

The candidate

  • 3+ years Project Management experience in the transportation, civil construction or infrastructure sector- managing project programming, variations, conceptual and design development, and user group management
  • Sound knowledge of New Zealand building codes and associated legislations
  • Working knowledge and experience of sub-contractor management
  • Recognised safety training
