Casual – no fixed hours of work

 

We are looking for an experienced Registered Nurse to join our District Nursing team based at the CHB Health centre in Waipukurau.

Community Nursing provides a wide range of specialist nursing care in the community, with the aim enabling our patients to stay healthier for longer and closer to home. 

It is essential that you have a current unendorsed NZ driver licence, a strong customer service focus, and have a broad range of clinical skills including wound management (both acute and chronic), intravenous therapy, urinary in- dwelling catheter management, as well as knowledge in the management of palliative care and long-term conditions. Ideally, you’ll have experience in a community setting however we will consider all applicants who can demonstrate practise at a proficient level as per Health NZ – Hawkes Bay Professional Development and Recognition Programme (see the attached Position Profile).
