Mō te tūnga | About the Role

We are looking for Physiotherapists who can hit the ground running with a passion to deliver high quality standard of care to patients on the Christchurch Campus. You will be working across all inpatient areas as a member of the multidisciplinary team. You will need to be flexible and adaptable with enthusiasm for knowledge sharing across disciplines

Christchurch Hospital is a busy, acute hospital with a large team of enthusiastic physiotherapists.  Regular professional development opportunities are provided and supported.

These positions are a great opportunity to try something new, and are often an opportunity to step into something more permanent.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Undertaking expert assessments, completing appropriate interventions and providing advice or referring to other services.
  • Helping supervise students and providing mentorship to junior colleagues as your experience level progresses.
  • Working alongside a multi-disciplinary team.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • A broad range of experience across the tertiary care environment;
