Our client is seeking an experienced Cloud Engineer for a permanent position. In this role, you will be responsible for the design, construction, and maintenance of their cloud-based systems and infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement reliable, cost-effective cloud and network architectures.
- Develop software for automation, integration and back-office tasks.
- Ongoing administration of business applications and the integrations between them.
- Implementing monitoring and logging solutions for cloud and network resources.
- Responding to incidents and implementing disaster recovery plans.
- Maintaining documentation for configuration, processes, and approaches.
- Implementing and maintaining security approaches for cloud environments.
- Managing relationships with cloud service providers.
You will also be proficient in:
- Cloud technologies (Azure or AWS)
- IaaS, PaaS and SaaS solutions
- Datawarehouse, integration and reporting tools.
- Development Tools eg. C#, Python
- Integration technologies
- 5+ years of experience as a Cloud Engineer
- Software development experience
- Excellent customer service and strong communication skills
- Strong decision making and prioritisation skills
- Proven complex technical problem solving skills
- Strong appreciation of customer business impact due to application problems
