Digger Operator

Tradestaff are seeking an experienced Digger Operator to join us for an immediate start! 

Responsibilities:

• Operate digger efficiently and safely.
• Perform routine maintenance checks.
• Excavate and move materials.
• Follow safety protocols.
• Communicate effectively with team.
• Adhere to project timelines.
• Maintain cleanliness of work area.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as digger operator.
• You must be able to operate the digger autonomously without constant supervision.
• Strong understanding of digger controls.
• Ability to interpret project plans accurately.
• Valid driver's license with WTR endorsement.
• Physical fitness and stamina.
• Commitment to health & safety standards.

Successful applicants must:

• Pass a pre-employment drug test
• Have 2 ready work references
• Have your own vehicle with a restricted or full license

You may also be required to submit a criminal history check with the Ministry of Justice.

Please note that our work is mainly industrial and therefore for Health and Safety reasons you do need a good command of English.
