Description

We are on the lookout for a self-motivated Intermediate Estimator to join our clients Interior Fit-out team. You will be responsible for the preparation and pricing of competitive, comprehensive, and commercially sustainable tenders and ensuring offers of service are delivered on a timely basis and with a high standard of presentation.

The salary is negotiable and dependent on experience but will be in the region of $120k-140k.

Main duties will include:

  • Liaising with clients and design team during the negotiations pre-
  • construction phase and where required providing budget and value engineering advise.
  • Developing tender programmes as part of the pre-construction phase and assist with the development of full construction programmes.
  • Negotiating procurement or merchants supply contracts to the best advantage of the division.
  • Ensuring that cashflow projections are met with timely claims and payments, and that suppliers and subcontractor’s payments are made in a timely manner.
  • Preparing comprehensive and accurate reports on projects status, including all financials, progress and exceptions.

About you:

  • Fiver years’ experience in Estimating/Quantity Surveying.
  • Disciplined and self-motivated with a positive approach to work.
  • Customer focused and committed to providing a high quality of service.
  • Effective interpersonal skills and be able to work as part of a team.
  • Ability to delegate tasks.
  • Effective time management skills.
  • Ability to prioritise work and meet deadlines.
  • Effective and professional communicator.
  • Computer skills and keyboard accuracy.
