HVAC Technician - Wellington region

HVAC Technician Required!

OneStaff is looking for Experienced HVAC Techs. You will need to be reliable and motivated. You might be asked to work across the country to assist with our projects, so flexibility is preferred.

The normal duties to be performed comprise all activities related to installing, repairing and maintaining heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems and equipment including but not limited to:

Duties include:

• Installing, repairing and maintaining heating and cooling systems
• Assembling and preparing the tools & equipment needed for the installation
• Operating a variety of hand & power tools needed for HVAC installation
• Diagnosing faults for the HVAC System
• Cleaning, adjusting and repairing HVAC system.
• Read, understand and interpret drawings and specification to establish job requirements
• Testing HVAC systems and making adjustments if necessary
• Filling system and checking for leaks
• Following health & safety measures at work

Requirements:

• Minimum 3+ years relevant experience or relevant qualification
• Be physically fit
• Be technically capable
• Good understanding of Health & Safety best practices

Pay conditions:  Min $26.69 to $30.00

Hours of work: Minimum of 30 hours of work is guaranteed.

Location: You may be required to work in multiple locations throughout New Zealand, including Northland, Auckland, Waikato, Bay of Plenty, Gisborne, Hawke’s Bay, Taranaki, Manawatu-Whanganui, Wellington, Marlborough, Nelson-Tasman, West Coast, Canterbury, Otago & Southland

This is a full-time role.
