H2R Consulting are partnering with Petroleum Logistics in order to locate a talented Logistics Scheduler.
This is a permanent role based in the Wellington head office with a fun, professional and collegial team. You will report to the CFO.
This is a brand new position so you will have a chance to really make it your own and stamp your mark on it. It was developed due to business growth.
About the business:
GOfuel (Petroleum Logistics) provides fuel services across New Zealand. It has substantial Aviation and Marine assets and is a significant supplier of commercial fuel. It also has a growing commercial lubricant business. It is currently in the process of major growth through acquisition and new supply agreements. This role has been created to provide the support necessary to facilitate the expanded business needs.
The role:
You will be responsible for ensuring the end to end and daily planning of the scheduling process. This includes ensuring scheduling needs are appropriately managed and maintained to meet the needs of the business. You will work closely with suppliers, customers, the operations and commercial teams and with the owners and managers of our sites.
You will be responsible for the transport costing in the budgets with the assistance of the Financial Accountant.
Background required:
- Logistics Scheduling experience
- Class 2 license to cover Wellington driver on leave days
- Strong Scheduling system and Microsoft skills
- Strong organisational and problem solving skills
- Strong people skills including ability to communicate directly with suppliers, customers and key internal contacts
- Industry experience is preferred but not essential
- Willingness to embrace and drive change

Class 2 License covers: heavy vehicles with a gross laden weight between 4,500kg to 18,000kg with no more than 2 axles.
