Job Description:
As a Painter Foreman, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and executing painting projects from start to finish. You will lead a team of painters, ensuring that all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. Your responsibilities will include but not limited to:
- Leading and supervising a team of painters, providing guidance, support, and instruction as needed.
- Planning and organising daily work schedules to maximize productivity and meet project deadlines.
- Conducting on-site assessments and inspections to evaluate project requirements and determine necessary materials and resources.
- Preparing surfaces for painting, including cleaning, sanding, and priming as needed.
- Applying paint, stain, and other finishes using various techniques and equipment
- Ensuring all tasks are completed to a professional standard.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a painter with at least 5 years of experience in a leadership role.
- Proficiency in a variety of painting techniques and surface preparation methods.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively motivate and manage a team.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in the painting industry.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Pass a pre-employment drug screen.
