He angitūtanga | About the role

As our Team Administrator, you will be providing day-to-day assistance for the workflow of our team, working to ensure actions are tracked and quality information and feedback on progress of work routinely provided as part of the partnership. You will exhibit a high level of professionalism and discretion. This role requires someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, can quickly adjust to different workflows and prioritise several tasks at any one time.

The position will be focused on:

  • Administration duties such as meeting facilitation, minute taking, invoicing, managing the document register, catering and travel coordination.
  • Assist, coordinate and ensure quality assurance of complex and urgent correspondence.
  • Be a key liaison between the Regional Treaty Partnerships team, other internal departments, and our treaty partner organisations.

We are seeking an organised administrator who has a passion for the environment and working with our treaty partners.

If you have some of following, we are keen to hear from you:

  • Prior administration experience in a complex environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including editing/proof reading.
  • An ability to use initiative and work independently to deal with critical tasks.
  • Knowledge of Tikanga Maori
  • Interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively with people from diverse backgrounds.
  • Ability to manage the shifting priorities of the team and adjust own priorities accordingly.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Digitally savvy with the ability to learn new systems quickly.

Desirable:

  • Politically agile with an understanding of government systems and environment.

The salary range for this position is $60,314 - $74,603 with the starting salary of the successful applicant being based on their relevant skills and experience.
