Programme Director

We're looking for a candidate to this position in an exciting company.

• Lead the overall strategy and direction of the Data Savvy Xero programme working closely with the EGM of Data and the Data leadership team
• Shape and deliver the programme communications strategy including collation and simplification of detailed programme plans to senior leadership
• Establish, lead and chair the programme governance group acting as the key liaison between Xero's Executive Leadership Team (XLT), Board, governance/steering groups, senior leadership and programme/project sponsor/s
• Direct leadership and mentoring of the central programme team, support and influential leadership of the wider delivery teams across the programme
• Review and manage overall programme risks and be accountable for overall programme success and outcomes
• Lead the development of initiatives and projects into structured programmes
• Ensure projects within the programme are suitably resourced
• Vendor recruitment and management where required
• Be a part of recruitment, staff induction and training where required
• Embrace and champion the programme and projects within the programme and drive the delivery of the change to a high standard
• Travel as required, most likely trans-Tasman and within AU/NZ only.

• Experience working within a modern software company and understand SaaS models and principles
• You have lead high-profile, complex transformational programmes of work and projects
• 10+ years experience leading and delivering multiple projects and programmes
• You have a natural ability to influence and can bring demonstrated examples of exemplary stakeholder management to C level / senior leadership.
• Strategic vendor management
• Experience as part of, or leading Governance groups.
