Are you a kitchen champion looking for full time work in the Wellington area? Lowie is looking for an experienced Sous Chef to work in a busy production environment on the outskirts of Porirua.

Some duties you may be required to do:
- Follow and maintain high food safety and hygiene standards
- Ensure the kitchen operates in a timely way
- Fill in for the Head Chef in planning food preparation when needed
- Solve any issues that arise and take control of any problematic situation
- Manage and train kitchen staff, establish working schedule and assess staff's performance
- Working in a team
The ideal candidate will have the following skills:
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Passionate about food and presentation
- Excellent record of kitchen and staff management
- Strive to exceed customers satisfaction
- Ability to communicate, multi-task and cope under pressure
- Able to work a shift system
No qualifications are required, however, a hospitality qualification would be beneficial. You will need to be a NZ Citizen, Permanent Resident or on a valid work visa to apply for a position.
