A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a commercially focused GM HR, Safety & Communications to join a leading NZ owned logistics provider.

Reporting to the Chief Executive and a part of the senior leadership team, the GM of HR, Safety & Communications will partner with the Chief Executive and wider senior leadership team. They will help shape the people strategy and support the transformation and change that is required to achieve the business objectives, building on strong foundations.

As well as ensuring that the HR, Health and Safety & Communications team have the right people, capability and structures in place to deliver best practice, this role will also be focused on key strategic initiatives and programmes that will support the business with retention, talent management, building leadership capability, safety, and systems and processes.

We are looking for someone with exceptional stakeholder management, a commercial focus and a forward thinking and innovative approach. Not only will you be a strong HR generalist with the ability to be “hands on” and involved, you will have bench strength in Safety and a passion for internal communications.
