Our client is seeking an exceptional Key Account Manager who is keen to 'plug in' and be part of a customer-centred business. You will be responsible for contributing to the success of targets and margins, by the management of accounts and maximisation of prospective opportunities. You will utilise your trade background, whether it is in sales or on the tools, to relate to your clients and build longstanding partnerships.

About the role

As the region's key account manager you will drive sales strategies, develop client relationships, and collate relevant information.

Objectives will include, but not limited to:
  • Basing sales goals and targets on past performance, and projecting future performance
  • Enhancing, encouraging, and helping to develop the company's brand and associated tools using a combination of training and presentations
  • Facilitating and achieving annual sales budgets, K.P.I's, and targets
  • Ensuring systems are in place to identify and secure prospective customers and new market opportunities

About you:
  • A trade background either on the tools or in sales
  • Full clean drivers licence & ability to drive a manual vehicle
  • You hold a track record of building long term relationships
  • Excellent at communicating information to a wide range of internal/external contacts and the appropriate business channels
  • Driven, self-motivated, and can work efficiently to tight deadlines
