About the role:

The Strategy and Funding Directorate are looking for two Strategic Project Managers who will lead the development and implementation of new innovative initiatives and effective models of care and service delivery that will achieve health gain across a number of key areas.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have the ability to think outside the box, have strong programme and project management skills, experience in the health system and a comprehensive understanding of the Iwi landscape.

You will have extensive experience co-designing services, working with partners to innovate for quality improvement and excellent leadership and communications skills.

If you are committed to making a difference to the population of the Waikato and have the ability to drive change that leads to improved outcomes and the elimination of inequities this may be the role for you. A strong understanding of tikanga me Te Reo Māori will be an advantage.



The Waikato District Health Board Health & Safety has a policy that includes ensuring that you comply with the Health Order announced 11 October 2021 and with the Waikato DHB’s Vaccine Preventable Diseases for Employees policy.
