Our client has multiple restaurants & cafes throughout Canterbury as well as a major catering & events arm to their expansive & extremely busy business. They have built their success on finding the right team with a passion & flair for food and offering their customers the most amazing experience every time they cross their path. 
We are URGENTLY looking for an extraordinary ‘Sous-Chef' to start immediately in LEESTON & help lead the way! Someone passionate about food & devoted to creating the most masterful pieces for this amazing company!   
  • Location: Leeston 
  • Role: Sous-Chef 
  • Type: Permanent OR Temporary 
  • Time: 04:00 To 13:00/14:00 
  • Thursday To Monday (Tuesday & Wednesday Off) 
  • Immediate Start! 
Your Main Responsibilities Will Be As Follows: 
  • Assist The Head Chef 
  • Take Over When Head Chef Is Away 
  • Cook The Breakfast / Brunch Menu 
  • Help With The Salads & Other Cabinet Items (I.e.: Croissants, Filo, Pastries, Savouries Etc. & Bakery Like Slices, Cakes, Sweets, Etc.) 
  • Prepare Café Cabinet Food  
  • Prepare Platters For Corporate & Events 
  • Support & Lead Other Line Chefs 
Successful applicants ideally thrive to work in an amazing, fast-growing team & have a drive to deliver the highest quality food. Living in the Selwyn District or nearby areas like Rolleston, Halswell or even Hornby would also be advantageous however NOT essential as long as you're prepared to travel to & from Leeston everyday.
