An increased workload means this major contractor is looking to grow their team at their Napier Branch. Having recently recruited a number of new engineers they are now looking for at least two Project Managers to join their team to work on a variety of projects around the Hawkes Bay. Primarily a roading contractor most projects with have a roading element but there will also be a range of civil and capital works that will include earthworks, drainage, foundations and other general works.
This contractor is well established throughout both the North and South Island and the Hawkes Bay division is one of their most successful teams. Ideally one of the project managers will have sealing and surfacing works experience as part of a greater skill set within the civil sector. As PM you will have a good track record of delivering projects to programme and budget whilst building some longstanding relationships with clients, subbies and suppliers along the way. With an established team of operators and foremen in place you’ll look to get the best from your engineers and crews and be there to offer advice and support when needed. You could be an established project manager looking for a change or an experienced engineer looking to step up into a project management role; either way I’m keen to hear from you. Other requirements include;
- A qualification in civil engineering or related industry
- A minimum of 6 years’ experience with a civil contractor
- Experience of dealing with subcontractors, suppliers and clients
- An adaptable and enthusiastic approach to civil and infrastructure work
There is an immediate need to fill these roles so don’t hesitate to get in touch. You will be offered a great package in respect to your experience and will be joining a contractor willing to invest in your future development and education in the civil infrastructure sector.
