Iwi are a cornerstone to the region. The Kāpiti Coast District Council is committed to fostering their relationship with Iwi in the spirit of partnership and by honouring Te Tiriti.
The mahi:
You’ll help nurture, grow and evolve partnerships with Iwi Māori on the Kāpiti Coast and provide strategic and technical advice and practical support to plan and create opportunities for Iwi that shape and influence the work of Council. You’ll also connect Council activity managers and Iwi members and support them to establish strong and effective relationships reflecting tāngata whenua perspectives and aspirations.
