Our client is a transport and logistics company based in Christchurch, New Zealand. Operates long haul and has a fleet of tractors and trailers that includes flatbeds, stepdecks, dry vans, and b-trains. 
  
At present, we are looking for a Class 5 Driver who focuses on safety, adherence to traffic regulations, self-discipline, and a sense of responsibility.  
  
Your Main Responsibilities Will Include: 

• Operate Class 5 B Train & And Truck/Trailer Side Curtain Units 
• Open Curtains For Forklift To Loan/Unload Pallets 
• Move Pallets From One Location To Another (12kms Each Way) 
• Keep Trucks Clean & Tidy 
• Process Documentation As Required 

The successful candidate must have a valid Class 5 driver’s license and be physically fit. Prior experience in the logistics industry is preferred but not required. Open for NZ Citizens / Residents or hold an open working visa.
