Job Title: Concrete Supervisor

Location: Tauranga, Bay Of Plenty

Job Type: Full-time

Position Overview: As a Concrete Supervisor, you will play a key role in overseeing and managing various aspects of concrete repair and restoration projects. Working with specialized products such as Sika-approved applicators, you will ensure the successful implementation of concrete repair systems, grouting, anchoring, sealants, waterproofing, chemical-resistant coatings, and aesthetic coatings. Additionally, you will be responsible for concrete grinding operations to achieve desired surface finishes and specifications.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and supervise concrete repair projects from start to finish, ensuring adherence to project timelines and quality standards.
  • Work closely with Sika-approved applicators to implement specialized concrete repair systems effectively.
  • Oversee grouting and anchoring operations to ensure structural integrity and stability.
  • Apply sealants and waterproofing solutions to protect concrete surfaces from environmental damage.
  • Apply chemical-resistant and aesthetic coatings to enhance the durability and appearance of concrete structures.
  • Conduct concrete grinding activities to achieve smooth, level surfaces as per project requirements.
  • Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to achieve project objectives.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in concrete repair and restoration, with a focus on specialized products and systems.
  • Knowledge of Sika-approved applicators and their application processes.
  • Proficiency in grouting, anchoring, sealants, waterproofing, chemical-resistant coatings, and aesthetic coatings.
  • Experience in concrete grinding operations, including the use of grinding equipment and techniques.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively coordinate project teams.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to quality and safety standards.
  • Ability to work independently and make sound decisions under pressure.
  • Relevant certifications or training in concrete repair and restoration techniques is preferred.
