Description

As a Project Engineer, you’ll be an essential part of the teams responsible for delivering a flagship project in Auckland, project value $100m. The Project Engineer's duties are to ensure the successful completion of project packages that meet the criteria of safety, client satisfaction, quality and timeliness. The role also involves applying innovative design and construction processes, tools, and techniques to enhance deliverable value. The successful candidate will collaborate with various project staff, primarily with PMs, QSs and Services Engineers.

The salary is $120k - $140k dependent on experience

Key Responsibilities:
· Building and nurturing client/stakeholder relationships
· Managing project planning and delivery
· Upholding quality standards
· Focusing on Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE)
· Overseeing staff
· Overseeing design, building code and regulatory compliance

Here are the prerequisites for this role:
· Tertiary Qualifications in Building/Construction Management (NOT Civil Engineering - this is not a civil infrastructure project).
· A minimum of 5-6 years experience within the building and construction industry
· A focus on quality and the ability to assess risk

· Basic knowledge of contracts management
· Proficiency in project management and planning software, e.g., Aconex, MS Project, Jobpac
