Ward 9A at Wakari Hospital is a 15 bed medium secure inpatient unit for Otago and Southland for people who are in the Justice system and require assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation.
We are a multidisciplinary team that delivers a range of therapeutic services and programmes in this setting. We have a strong emphasis on linking people with families/ whanau and reintegration into the wider community.
