An opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic receptionist/administrator with passion, resilience and commitment to join our diverse team.
You will be at the forefront of all our client and visitor interactions so it is important you are friendly, approachable, and have a natural ability to make our tāngata whaiora, whānau and visitors feel at ease. A proven track record in maintaining high levels of accuracy and service excellence is top priority.
The successful person will be required to undertake duties associated with the administration of our service. This role encompasses many different tasks so training will be given to assist in the development and enhancement of skills and knowledge required. The role requires you to have the ability to multitask, prioritise and adhere to deadlines all while remaining calm and keeping a sense of humour. A friendly disposition and willingness to learn is essential while previous office or customer service experience is desirable.
Ultimately, your duties and responsibilities are to ensure the front desk welcomes guests positively, and executes all administrative tasks to the highest quality standards. You will be responsible for a range of activities ranging across assisting our clients and visitors with their enquiries, both over the phone and in person, generating and confirming appointment bookings for our doctors/clinicians and processing referrals. You will be joining a team of five other administrators who look after two community mental health teams. We are a diverse, friendly group of administrators who thrive on working together as a team to ensure all work is completed in a timely manner with optimum outcome.
Wellington Central & South Community Mental Health Teams are teams of multidisciplinary professionals who provide mental health services, assessment and treatment for adults 18 years and older. Our goal is to help support our clients to lead healthy, fulfilling lives through their recovery.
