The National Public Health Service (NPHS) within Te Whatu Ora, work towards Pae Ora (healthy futures) for all by engaging with the wider determinants that impact people's health, focusing on oranga/wellbeing, prevention, and population-level intervention. We are connected across boundaries to deliver public health services that are nationally planned, regionally delivered and locally tailored.
We have a permanent, full-time opportunity available to join our Health Promotion team as Advisor Whānau Ora. Advisors are entry-level advisors with developing subject matter expertise, writing and relationship skills.. The primary purpose of this role is to be responsible for supporting the development and delivery of projects within the Health Promotion directorate by providing advice and coordination.

Willing to learn to achieve this in a range of formats for a range of audiences, to inform decision-making. You have some experience, knowledge and skills in relation to strategic health promotion policy in an Aotearoa context.
