We have an exciting opportunity for experienced Allied Health Assistants to join our Allied Health team at Southland Hospital. We are seeking motivated and personable individuals to work alongside Allied Health professionals and provide crucial support in patient care, rehabilitation, and discharge planning. These positions involve tasks within the Assessment, Treatment, and Rehabilitation ward but may extend to contributing to the acute inpatient wards.

Ngā whakararuraru matua - Key responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Social Workers, Speech and Language Therapists, and Dietitians
  • Support patient care, rehabilitation, and discharge planning initiatives
  • Contribute to tasks within the Assessment, Treatment, and Rehabilitation ward, as well as acute inpatient wards

Utu whānui - Salary range

This role aligns with the DHB/PSA Allied, Public Health, Scientific and Technical Multi-Employer Collective Agreement and falls between Step 3 ($65,975) and Step 7 ($84,193) of the Technical/ Non-degree qualified scale.
