Permanent Position,

Part-Time to Full-Time, 64 to 80 hours per fortnight, Hours Negotiable

(Mon - Fri, Rostered Shifts) (+ on call)

Right now, we - re looking for an Anaesthetic Technician/ Registered Nurse Anaesthetic Assistant with experience behind them to become part of our Theatre team here in Timaru Hospital

As part of our Operating Theatre service you will be working with a supportive and friendly team. You will be assisting in multiple peri-operative scenarios, maintaining and practicing the highest level of patient care.

Ideally, you will have:

  • A current Medical Science Council (MSC) approved Registered Anaesthetic Technician practising certificate
  • Registered Nurse with Anaesthetic Assistant Qualification 
  • A minimum of one to two years of relevant technical experience
  • Knowledge of the relevant legislation and standards which govern health care practice in New Zealand
  • Proven excellent communication and interpersonal skills
