About the opportunity:
Our industry-leading client is looking for their next Arborist to join their Vegetation team in Timaru! They operate and maintain electricity networks covering a wide area between the Rangitata and Waitaki Rivers, from the coast inland to Mount Cook. Responsibilities will include:
They are looking for an experienced Arborist to:
- Provide vegetation control services from conflict with overhead power lines and structures
- Provide response during major storms or significant weather events
- Complete a variety of private work
- Surveying of Network feeders
- Work as a team ensuring the safety of yourself, work colleagues and the general public
This role will suit someone with all or some following background/experience/qualities:
- A level 4 Arborist qualification with a focus on safety and quality
- 5+ years of Arborist experience
- Basic Utility experience is preferred but not essential
- Positive role model of health and safety practices
- Current NZ Driver's License
