Te whiwhinga mahi/The Opportunity
As the Architectural lead the purpose of the role is to be responsible for the production and management of the architectural design delivery and co-ordination for a new greenfield development from Resource Consent stage through to practical completion. Reporting into the Group Manager you will be the focal point for successful delivery, working as part of a design team that is focussed on delivering practical architecture that respects both good design and buildability. The role will pay a salary of $120 - $135 k + a range of benefits dependent on experience.

A challenging, stimulating and fulfilling role you will enjoy the fast-paced nature of having a large commercial scale project with many moving parts and sections progressing at different stages simultaneously.

He pūkenga tou/Your Skills and Experience
You must be an NZRAB Registered Architect or LBP3 qualified with a track record of successful delivery for aged care, health, independent residential living or community facilities to AS/NZ standards. You will be a collaborative leader who enjoys supporting and developing others while promoting an inclusive team culture where everyone can contribute and is heard.

  • Registered NZRAB Architect or LBP3
  • Portfolio of retirement, aged care, health or related community facilities
  • Experienced working in a Revit/ BIM Environment
  • Confident leading, supporting and mentoring Technicians and Graduates.
  • Extensive working knowledge of the NZBC and NZS3604
  • Able to deliver and manage the full project life-cycle from design to build, defects and practical completion
