Our clients are seeking a skilled and experienced Asphalt Plant Operator to join their dynamic team in Tauranga! If you have a passion for quality, safety, and precision in asphalt production, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain asphalt production equipment, including asphalt plants and related machinery.
- Ensure the production of high-quality asphalt mixtures, meeting industry standards and specifications.
- Monitor and control equipment to optimize efficiency and productivity.
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs as needed to keep the plant running smoothly.
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and regulations to create a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with a team of professionals dedicated to excellence in asphalt production.
- We utilize cutting-edge technology to blend and mix a range of components, including aggregate, bitumen, modifiers, polymers, fillers, and pelletized fibre.
- You'll need a deep understanding of the intricacies of asphalt production
- You should possess a strong foundation in asphalt manufacturing, from raw material selection to final product quality control.
- Have a good understanding of all things asphalt as we can manufacture 600 to 1,250 tonnes of Asphalt per day
- A safety-first attitude
- Team player who is physically fit
- Class 1 licence 1 licence - WTR Bonus with F endorsement
- Previous experience operating different plant machinery
- Mechanical and technical aptitude
- Passion for our industry and the willingness to work hard and learn
