Description

H2R Consulting are assisting a large NZ owned organisation locate a Billing Specialist to work within their broader accounting / operations division. This role sits within a team of 4-5 and requires someone with a keen eye for detail and the ability to solve problems.

The Client Billing team works primarily with consumers on their various queries big or small, in order to find a sound resolution over the phone or via email.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Generating billing data and processing credit notes and refund requests
  • Preparing reports and summaries
  • Identifying areas of process improvement/efficiencies
  • Stakeholder / customer engagement
  • Assisting with regulatory and audit requirements

Ideally you will have:

  • Previous experience working with invoices
  • Analytical skills to identify problems and resolve communication skills
  • Computer literacy and be competent across the Microsoft Office Suite
  • Numerical reasoning skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Experience with a large finance system or other billing systems (desirable)
  • Sound Excel knowledge and experience.

If you are working in an AP or AR position you will have many cross over skills. This role and team will be open to teaching the few bits that are potentially missing for the right person.

WFH 1 day per week ( once you know how to do the job).
