About the Client
My Client is an established business based in Penrose. Continuing to focus on delivering to customers expectations they have grown from strength to strength.
Operating in the transport industry, they currently have a number of contracts in place which will support the organisation and allow it to continue to grow. Already the market leader within their industry, they continue to look for new ways to automate and digitise their business against the norm for their industry.
About the Role
Due to a recent resignation, they are currently looking for an experienced Bookkeeper or accountant to step into the business and support the finance manager with a view to progressing within the organisation.
This role will report into the Finance Manager with a dotted line into the GM and exposure to the business owner.
This is a broad role that covers a number of areas.
- Generate regular P&L
- Cashflow forecasting
- Balance Sheet reports
- Budgeting and forecasting.
- Bank reconciliation & expenses.
- Support for accounts payable, accounts receivable and payroll.
About You
Ideally you will be an experienced Bookkeeper looking to step up into a more senior role. You do not need to be CA Qualified, although previous experience is essential. You will have the opportunity to bring your ideas to the table, support an innovation of the finance function. You will have a good understanding of MYOB, or similar systems, experience with Excel and the ability to use spreadsheets and analyse information.
