Description
This organisation is one you will instantly recognise, they have a branch network throughout NZ and several manufacturing plants. As a Branch Accountant, you will be providing financial support to approximately 12-13 branches ensuring detailed analysis of branch performance and identifying areas of potential improvement.
Supporting the Finance Manager, and working alongside the wider finance team you will ensure outcomes are achieved within required timeframes.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Monthly processing
- GL reconciliations
- Analytical reporting
- Facilitation of annual budgets
- Reviewing and analysing gross margins
- Reporting of expenses
- Assisting in compliance
- Dealing with queries
If you are looking for an opportunity with a stable, well-respected business that supports its people then this could be for you. Ideally, you will have experience in a manufacturing environment, be deadline-driven and have a positive “can do” attitude. You are ideally working toward your CA or ACA and have Excel skills of at least an intermediate level.
Communication skills are a strength as well as the ability to build key stakeholder relationships across the business.
