Role Overview:
Our client is a dynamic consultancy firm in the construction industry, they are looking for a driven and confident Business manager to play a pivotal role at the heart of their business operation. This newly created leadership role is all about optimising and future proofing the firm’s growth.
You’ll be instrumental in maintaining smooth day-to-day office functioning, fostering a positive team culture, and contributing to the firm’s growth trajectory. Working closely with the directors, optimizing strategy, structure and service levels, ensuring professionalism.

Responsibilities will include:
General Business Management/Development: Streamlining workflows, implementing efficient systems, smooth day-to-day running of the office as well as coordinating BD
Governance: Involvement in director and shareholder meetings, trusts and legal administration
IT Support: System knowledge, IT training
Human Resources: Manage recruitment, onboarding, training, performance and development
Financial Acumen: Overseeing accounts payable and receivable, budgeting, financial reporting, and ensuring financial compliance
Skills Required:
- Minimum 6 years’ experience in a similar business management role, developing a professional work environment
- Working knowledge of HR and H&S functions
- High financial acumen
- Problem solver
- Professional demeanour with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent computer literacy
