Mō te tūnga | About the role
You will manage the Non-Public Fund (NPF) portfolio within the Defence Shared Services Group (DSSG). Non-Public funds provide services and amenities that help maintain the health, wellbeing and retention of NZDF personnel. A Non-Public fund refers to money raised by NZDF personnel for personnel.
You will have two direct reports. One that manages a team of Accounting Analysts and another that manages a team of Customer Experience Representatives (CERs). The CER team are located across the regions to deliver nationally consistent services, manage compliance and run system administration.
Your focus is on strategic thinking and partnership building to ensure the NPF portfolio is effectively meeting the needs of customers.
Once you have undergone training and are up to speed, flexible working arrangements are negotiable. There is the option of working from any NZDF Camp or Base within NZ.
DSSG have a presence at every NZDF Camp and Base in NZ. Occasional travel is required to visit DSSG sites. A Class 1 Full Driver's License is therefore required.
