Our client is dominating the Manawatu, Hawkes Bay and Wellington markets and quickly becoming a well-known name in the Traffic Management industry. Due to rapid growth, our client now requires a Business Support Manager to support Senior Leadership with business advancement, strategy and efficiency improvements.
This businesses is all about ‘setting the standard’ and expect employees to support the same vision.
Overview:
We are seeking an enthusiastic individual with at least 3-5 years in a prior Management role, who possesses an extensive background in business strategy improvement and innovation.
In this role, no two days are the same as you manage internal projects in conjunction with the Senior Leadership team. You will plan, prepare and execute new business functions to support this evolving organisation and improve efficiency. You must be able to provide examples of where you successfully streamlined processes and/or implemented new techniques in your previous role(s)
This is a newly established position with an opportunity to bring your knowledge, integrate new ideas and make it your own.

- Manage key clients
- Drive growth through an annual sales plan
- Forecast sales and assist the operational team with delivering
- Manage one-off projects
- Own the quality assurance process
- Provide operational cover to SLT
- Report on business performance to the directors
- Visible leadership
Requirements:
- Proven track record in a leadership role, preferably regional or business unit/divisional management experience.
- Experience in P&L management and FY forecasting.
- A background of implementing or identifying and improving business processes.
- The ability to quantify and report concisely to directors.
Days and hours:
The hours are Monday to Friday between 7am-5pm, however there will be times you are required outside of these hours. Hours however don’t equate to delivery, delivery is the key component, we all deliver differently. Tell us what works.
