As a key player in the popular café, this hands-on role offers the chance to prepare delicious and healthy food for the menu, as well catering of events and bookings such as weddings and corporate functions. 

Role description:

Reporting to the Café Manager, the role is responsible for preparing and cooking fresh delicious and healthy food for the menu and cabinet, presenting food in an attractive and creative manner, preparation and cooking for the catering of events and bookings such as weddings and corporate functions and general tasks and cleaning.

Responsibilities will include:

• Preparing and cooking fresh delicious and healthy food for the menu and cabinet, 

• General tasks and cleaning

• catering of events and bookings such as weddings and corporate functions

This role will suit someone with all or some of the following background/experience/qualities: 

• 2 - 3 years kitchen experience as a Chef or Cook

• A calm and considerate manner

• Ability to work weekends and occasional evenings

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment whilst maintaining high standards

• Baking experience

• Drive to achieve and exceed set standards

• Most importantly, a love for hospitality, an amazing attitude and a customer-first philosophy
