Our client is multi-disciplinary design consulting studio operating across Aotearoa’s private and public sectors with projects that range from education, multi-storey residential, multi-site developments, modular and commercial projects. They apply unique, innovative designs to almost any building type and use the highest quality standards to ensure an outstanding end product for their customers. To support continued growth within the Waikato, they are currently looking for a driven Junior Civil Engineer to help push projects to completion.

 The role:

  • Contributing design, coordination, evaluation, and analysis on three waters and drainage design projects for clients across New Zealand. 
  • Ensure that engineering designs meet national standards and requirements as well as collaborate with team members to successfully deliver projects that meet their customers’ needs. 
  • Help provide great outcomes to projects and programmes by delivering innovation across the planning and feasibility stage of the project lifecycle.
  • Preparation of high-quality reports and other correspondence

 The ideal candidate:

  • A tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering (NZCE, Diploma or higher)
  • 2 years solid work experience in the Civil/Land Development sector with a focus on water, wastewater and stormwater design.
  • The ability to take a lead role in the planning, designing and implementation of projects
