Description
Our client is a NZ owned company originally started in 1977 in a garage in Auckland! A very successful company in the transport, logistics and international freight forwarding business with branches across NZ.
We are on the hunt for their next class 5 driver to join their awesome Wellington Transport team delivering and collecting freight from commercial and residential premises.
The position is a temporary role that will lead to full-time, Monday to Friday - with core hours from 8.00am to 5.30pm, some flexibility as extra hours may be required.
You'll need to be:
- A holder of a clean New Zealand Class 5 driver's license
- Be physically fit for work and able to lift 25kg and upwards
- Organized and able to process documentation and keep paperwork in order, use of a scanner ideal but not required as full training given.
- A good team player, flexible, initiative and work well in a safe manner
- Have a strong understanding of our health and safety policies and procedures and ensure that these are implemented and complied with at all times
- Forklift license would be an advantage, but not necessary
- Pass a pre-employment drug test
