About the role

If you're looking for the right opportunity to create positive, healthy change, then we're looking for you. Right now, we have an opportunity for a Clinical Document Workflow Coordinator to join our Medical Outpatients Department at the Whangarei Hospital in a permanent 0.6 FTE position, working 24 hours per week – no weekend work.

The purpose of this administration position is to manage the Aspire/MedDocs/Clinical Upload processes in an efficient and timely manner. Process printing, mailing and emailing to the standard outlined in protocols.

Key requirements

• Advanced computer skills in particular Microsoft Suite of applications such as Word, Excel and Outlook
• Prior experience in a fast-paced working environment
• Exceptional verbal & written communication skills
• Awareness and understanding of patient confidentiality
• High attention to detail

A good understanding of medical terminology & prior health care experience is desirable.
