Clinical Nurse Specialist Older Persons Rehabilitation and Stroke Services 
0.8 FTE Permanent Position

An exciting opportunity has become available for a nurse wishing to advance their nursing career in the Older persons, rehabilitation and Stroke service at Health New Zealand - Lakes. This role is about providing specialist nursing care to older adults and patients requiring rehabilitation, as well as providing support and oversight of the acute stroke service.  As part of this role you will work to support all Lakes staff in providing care for these vulnerable patients. 

 
The successful candidate will need excellent people management and communication skills and have proven case management and clinical leadership. Previous experience in working in gerontology and with rehabilitation and stroke patients is desirable. 

There is an expectation that the candidate will be working towards or has completed an appropriate Post Graduate qualification.
