Mō te tūnga | About the role
You will act as part of a team to deliver a variety of tasks within the procurement lifecycle (plan, source, manage).
This role services the Defence Commercial Services (DCS) unit and Defence Digital Group (DDG) Procurement & Commercial Team.
The DCS DDG team provide commercial support and advice to the Defence Digital Group, working across all three services: Airforce, Army and Navy.

You'll play a key role in contributing to the NZDF commercial function, which affects the capacity for NZDF to undertake military operations. What we do matters.
This role is based in the Wellington region between Wellington CBD and Trentham. You can choose which location you primarily work from, but you will need to be available to work at either site as required.
Once you have undergone training and are up to speed, there is the option of working from home up to two days a week.

Your attitude and “soft skills” are as important to us as your technical skills and government procurement experience.
This role requires flexibility to travel across the Wellington Region as you will be part of a team who are geographically dispersed across Wellington CBD, Petone and Trentham. Occasional domestic travel to NZDF Camps and Bases is required. You need to have a Class 1 Full Driver's Licence.
