As a Contract Analyst in the Digital Vendor Management Office, you'll play an important part in Ara Poutama Aotearoa's engagement with technology suppliers. You'll support the Commercial Managers work with technology providers to make the most of the value vendors provide to the Department. The primary objective of the role is to provide administrative management, guidance and expertise for digital products and services contracts. This function is critical to the Department's day to day operations, and for achievement of its strategic goals (Hōkai Rangi) and broader government objectives, in alignment with our shared values of inclusivity and collaboration.
You'll also be comfortable using your initiative, experience, and creativity to contribute to our ongoing work to improve practice and process. Ara Poutama Aotearoa's recurring spend on suppliers across a wide variety of categories is substantial, and our robust vendor management and procurement teams collaborate to make a positive impact on our operations. This is a great opportunity to work with and learn from other vendor management and procurement professionals.

Knowledge and experience of government procurement policies and processes would be an advantage
Utu ā-tau | Salary
The mid point of the salary range is $88,576 and the full range (85%-120%) is $75,290 - $106,292. Appointment and remuneration will reflect skills and experience relevant to the role.
