Bring your customer service flair and coordination skills to help recruit our volunteer firefighters.

Mō tēnei tūranga - about the role

As part of the volunteer recruitment team, the Coordinator Recruitment works alongside a team of other Coordinators, Administrators and Advisors. This also includes checking medical information for completeness, determining next steps in medical processing and finalising completed medical checks.

This role will also support the end-to-end recruitment of volunteers. Within time you will be cross- trained on other recruitment functions, including coordination for recruiting career firefighters and the end-to-end recruitment for non-operational roles.

As a natural people person, you will make connections with a wide range of stakeholders, both internally and externally. Working with sensitive information, you will show professionalism, empathy, and resilience.

Our ideal candidate will have prior experience working in a medical or health environment. Experience in HR, or Recruitment coordination would be a bonus.
