Ngā mōhiohio e pā ana ki tēnei mahi (About this position)

In Marlborough, Adult Mental Health Services are delivered by a highly regarded,  multi-disciplinary team based at the Wairau Hospital in Blenheim. This team delivers a comprehensive clinical service to those affected by acute or enduring severe mental illness.

The primary focus of this position is to  provide clinical oversite and interventions to an evolving  client caseload. Episodes of care are delivered with emphasis on recovery and self efficacy . In addition, the position offers the opportunity to undertake the  assessment and acute management of individuals presenting with mental health problems. Normal hours of work are between 8.00AM to 4.30PM, Monday to Sunday. Overtime and on-call required.

This  role is permanent full-time,). The salary range for this position is $75,304 to $103,630 based on the current Mental Health and Public Health Nursing MECA, dependent on skills, experience, and registration in NZ.

You will need be a Registered Psychiatric or Comprehensive Nurse, Social Worker or Occupational Therapists with an up to date knowledge of mental health and associated issues.  You will possess the personal resilience and professional attributes required to undertake this challenging role.

The successful candidate must be eligible to work in New Zealand or hold a valid NZ visa at the time of applying.
