Customer Service Representative - Rentals

We are currently seeking a self-motivated and reliable Customer Service Representative to assist with an interesting and busy role in South Auckland. 

This Customer Service Representative position is a permanent day shift role on a rotating 4 days on 2 days off roster.  Starting at 7.15am – 5.45pm there will be rostered weekend work. Any rostered weekend days attract penal rates at time and a half..

The key function of this role is to provide Truck Rental customers with a fantastic experience ensuring that the vehicle collection and hand-over process is smooth and efficient, professional, and personalised. You may also be asked assist with other tasks like moving trucks around the yard (you will be trained on this). 

We are seeking a ‘make it happen’ type of person with leadership aspirations, a good energy and a strong customer focus.

The role:

• Day to day operation on the front counter
• Action all email and telephone inquires quickly and efficiently 
• Prepare rental agreements/ invoices/ receipts/ and other paperwork in accordance with established procedures.  
• Moving vehicles around the yard 
• Coordinating with other departments -  vehicle services and the mechanical team. 

 Skills and Experience:

• Minimum of a Class 1 full licence
• Strong customer service skills  
• Positive, motivated with a good level of energy
• Computer literate 
• Good time management skills 
• Physically fit 
• The ability to multi-task
