Customer Services Officer

Email/Phone Customer Services Contract - immediate start - West Auckland (Te Atatu South) - 30 hours per week - Mon to Fri - 4 to 8 weeks' duration

About the company:
This kiwi-owned household brand has been operating in NZ for many years  providing delicious food to their customers.  

Hours, Location and Duration:

• Start immediately (ideally week of 2nd April 2024 if possible)
• 30 hours per week
• Mondays 8am-4.30pm
• Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays & Fridays 8am to 2pm
• This role is 100% based in the company Head Office in West Auckland
• Te Atatu South
• Contract for approx. 4 to 8 weeks+, or until their new permanent employee starts

About the role:

• Report to the Customer Service Manager
• Provide support to internal and external customers
• Predominantly supporting in the Export area
• Order processing
• Keying orders accurately and quickly
• Dealing with sales enquiries
• Liaising with warehouse & logistics teams to ensure smooth deliveries
• Updating product pricing
• Arranging PODs, copies of invoices, credit notes
• 90% of customer communication will be via email
• 10% will be phone-based
• Dealing with credit requests

About you
This role ideally would suit someone with the below experience/skillsets:

• FMCG experience
• Strong Customer Service experience – customer order management/billing/credits
• Inventory / 3PL – understanding how inventory and warehousing works (this role transacts inventory from their 3PL in Sydney to Australian customers)
• Export Experience – managing orders from Export customers
• You'll be that person who goes the extra mile to keep your customer happy
• You'll need to be available to start right away
• You'll have experience writing professional replies to customers
• You'll need to be technically savvy
• You'll ideally have experience with a CRM system
• You'll have fast and accurate data entry skills
• You'll need spot on attention to detail
• You'll love a busy fast-paced role
