Join our dynamic team as a Data Business Analyst! We are seeking a highly skilled individual who can bridge the gap between technical expertise and business strategy. As a Data Business Analyst, you will play a crucial role in transforming, enabling informed decision-making and driving business growth.

Te tūranga - The role
As the Data Business Analyst your role is to provided business analysis expertise and leadership to data product delivery on the data platform.

This role works closely with Business Group subject matter experts to capture, document and review data processes and requirements and to manage them through their lifecycle. Effectively plan and manage the business analysis workstream, produce high quality outputs, identify opportunities for improvement, mentor others and influence internal and external stakeholders in support of the project outcomes.

Ō pūkenga - About you
To be successful in one of these roles you'll have:

  • Proven experience in delivering data solutions. Experience modelling data will be an asset.
  • Relevant tertiary level qualification or equivalent years' experience.
  • Relevant industry or technical qualifications or certifications, eg IIBA Certified Business Analysis Professional.
  • Practical experience of business analysis techniques e.g. user stories, facilitation, customer journeys.
  • Proven experience in high business engagement roles with the credibility to influence key stakeholder and drive to results.
  • Previous experience working as part of a project team.
  • Skilled in translating IT roadmaps for a range of business customers.
  • Skilled in analysing product specifications and/or proposal responses for compliance with the bank's business requirements.
  • Effective relationship management skills, able to appear credible and influential in dealing with a range of stakeholders.
