Job Description

Drake Wellington have long and short-term assignments ready for you to start right now.

Responsibilities:

• Safely and efficiently operate forklifts to move, stack, and retrieve materials.
• Load and unload goods from trucks and storage areas.
• Perform pre-start checks on forklift equipment.
• Ensure all safety guidelines and protocols are followed and encouraged.
• Work with the wider logistics team to ensure efficient inventory movement.

Qualifications:

• Relevant and valid forklift certification, F Endorsed is a bonus but not essential.
• Proven experience as a forklift operator in a warehouse or distribution setting.
• Strong understanding of safety regulations and procedures.

Requirements:

• Be physically fit
• Ability to operate forklifts in a variety of environments and conditions.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in inventory tracking.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy items.
• Punctuality and reliability are essential.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test and have a return a clear criminal background check.
