Description

As a supervisor you will oversee shipping and logistics teams and activities for the facilities. You will be responsible for managing and coordinating all activities within a warehouse to work together seamlessly and
efficiently. This role owns receiving and shipping orders, reviewing logistics, leading the relevant operational teams, working with the administration/planning teams, ensuring warehouse equipment
is maintained and the highest safety standards are maintained. 
You will be required to work 6am to 6pm on a 4 day on 4 day off roster.  

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee day-to-day operations of the department
  • Manage work schedules and absence expectations
  • Issue written and verbal instructions to the team
  • Monitor and enforce compliance with safety procedures
  • Train, mentor, and provide ongoing guidance to team members
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback
  • Collaborate with other supervisors and managers to streamline processes
  • Maintain accurate inventory records

Requirements:

  • Experience in Warehouse Systems and Warehouse Supervision
  • Previous experience within a cold store environment advantageous
  • Familiarity with MPI requirements for primary industries an advantage
  • Ability to lead, direct, and motivate a diverse team
  • Strong knowledge of logistics operations, including receiving, warehousing, and shipping procedures
  • Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills
