An exciting opportunity has become available to work as a Dental Therapist or Oral Health Therapist and join our passionate and multi-disciplinary team at Rotorua – Community Oral Health Service, Te Whatu Ora Lakes

Mō koe / About you
You should have
- Bachelor of Oral Health or equivalent
- Registration with the Dental Council of New Zealand
- Excellent sterilisation & infection control
- Empathy and compassion when working tamariki and whanau
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
You would be
- Registered Dental Therapist
- Registered Oral Health Therapist
Te Whatu Ora — Health New Zealand - Voluntary Bonding Scheme (the Scheme) aims to encourage newly qualified health professionals to work in the communities and specialties that need them most, and to retain essential health professionals in Aotearoa New Zealand.
The Scheme is targeted to new or recent graduates in eligible professions who are starting their career, with the aim of incentivising them to work in eligible hard-to-staff communities or specialties. Those accepted to the Scheme can become eligible for payments in the first three-to-five years of their career, to help repay their student loan or as top-up income.
